Richard has worked in small animal, exotic and British wildlife practice since graduating in 1994. He holds the RCVS Certificate and Diploma (Mammalian), in Zoological Medicine, is an RCVS Specialist in Zoo and Wild Animal Medicine, and an ECZM Diplomat and Specialist in Zoo Health management. He is the author of several chapters on rabbits in BSAVA manuals. He is a co-author of Notes on Rabbit Internal Medicine, and Rabbit Behaviour, Husbandry and Welfare. He teaches Rabbit and Exotic Animal Medicine at the University of Bristol. He is the RWAF Veterinary Adviser and runs the RWAF Rabbit Friendly Practice list.
