Dr Nikoleta Makri earned a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the Faculty of Veterinary Science, University of Thessaly, Greece in 2016. She moved to the UK in 2017 and worked in general practice before undertaking a rotating internship followed by a dermatology internship in the hospital for small animals at the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies in Edinburgh. She recently completed her training for the ECVD residency in veterinary dermatology in the same teaching hospital. Nikoleta is particularly interested in ear disease, pododermatitis and CO2 laser surgery.
