Julia graduated from the University of Bristol Veterinary School in 2006 and worked in general practice for 3 years before commencing her specialist cardiology training in 2009. After her cardiology internship at Southern Counties Veterinary Specialists (SCVS), she completed rotating and cardiology specialist internships at the Royal Veterinary College, (RVC). Her cardiology residency training at the RVC began in 2012 and she was subsequently awarded her American Diploma in Veterinary Cardiology. She returned to SCVS in July 2015. Alongside her clinical role, she studied towards a PhD at the RVC, which she completed in 2023. Julia has a particular interest in advanced cardiac imaging and arrhythmia.
