Prof Gareth Arthurs
Gareth graduated from Cambridge University Veterinary School in 1996; he worked in mixed practice in Buckinghamshire for 4 years, and then moved to small animal practice where he started to develop his interest in small animal orthopaedic surgery. Gareth returned to Cambridge University Veterinary School 2003-2006 to train as a specialist. He passed his RCVS DSAS(Orth) specialist exams in 2007 and became an RCVS recognised specialist in small animal orthopaedics the same year, and an FRCVS in 2017. Gareth works as an orthopaedic surgeon at Arthurs Veterinary Specialists and is a part time Professor of Small Animal Orthopaedic Surgery at the Nottingham School of Veterinary Medicine and Science.
