Erin Porter is a 2007 graduate of the University of Florida, College of Veterinary Medicine. Immediately following veterinary school, she practiced as an ambulatory equine practitioner for 2 years, then returned to the University of Florida to complete a specialized internship focused on equine lameness and imaging. She subsequently completed a residency in Diagnostic Imaging at the University of Florida and became board certified by the American College of Veterinary Radiology in 2013. She has been a faculty Radiologist at the University of Florida, Veterinary Hospitals since 2013 and was the Service Chief of Diagnostic Imaging for 5 years. In 2020, she became board certified as an Equine Diagnostic Imaging specialist within the American College of Veterinary Radiology. Her professional interests include equine diagnostic imaging and small animal ultrasonography. She lives in Alachua, FL with her husband and two children. In her free time, Dr. Porter enjoys distance running and reading.
