Erica graduated from Melbourne University in 2008 and worked in small animal practice before completing an internship in Sydney. She then worked at the University of Melbourne teaching hospital as a clinical tutor and went on to complete her residency in small animal emergency and critical care at the same institution, obtaining DipACVECC status in 2017. Erica has been a lecturer in small animal emergency and critical care at the Royal Veterinary College since 2018 and is part of the Emergency Referrals and Critical Care services and the transfusion medicine service. She is particularly interested in cardio-respiratory emergencies, trauma, transfusion medicine and critically ill patients with sepsis.
