Dr David Singleton
Head Clinical Research,
IVC Evidensia
United Kingdom
David Singleton qualified from the University of Liverpool, having developed a keen interest in epidemiology and 'big data' during his training. His PhD focused on re-utilising practice and laboratory records for antimicrobial use and resistance surveillance in companion animals in the UK, which expanded to designing and conducting behaviour change-focused stewardship trials. He then spent a few years in the medical sector evaluating the real-world impact of vaccination on antimicrobial prescription and resistance in the UK and Sub-Saharan Africa, before recently returning to the veterinary sector to head clinical research across IVC Evidensia.
