Owen graduated from Cambridge University in 2005 and spent almost 10 years in general practice, undertaking large animal and small animal work, both in the UK and in India. He then undertook a residency in medical oncology at the Royal Veterinary College in London before moving to Bristol Vet Specialists where he is currently the head of oncology. Owen is an RCVS, European and American board-certified specialist in oncology and a member of the Australia & New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists (Chapter of Small Animal Medicine).''
