Hamish is an RVN and Lecturer in Clinical Communication Skills. After working in zoo and wildlife for some years, he became fascinated by human factors affecting animal care. He has completed an MSc in International Animal Welfare and Law and a Certificate in Veterinary Human Support, and is currently enrolled in a Professional Doctorate of Education. He sits on several ethics committees, has published various articles on ethics and human factors, and is currently co-writing a book about the effect of values on veterinary professionals.
