The British Veterinary Union in Unite (BVU) is a National Branch of Unite the Union - Britain's largest trade union with over 1.5 million members.
The BVU represents all workers within the UK Veterinary sector – from clinical staff such as Veterinary Surgeons, Veterinary Nurses, Student VNs, animal care assistants, to non clinical staff such as receptionists, practice managers, and other lay staff. We also support university students of veterinary medicine and veterinary nursing.
The British Veterinary Union in Unite has a vision of a prosperous veterinary sector in which employers and employees work together to build successful businesses and safe, healthy working environments.
