This session will provide delegates with an introduction to the new 2024 EMS Policy, highlighting the main changes that will be implemented from August this year. This will include the slight reduction in the number of weeks required alongside enhanced quality assurance of placements, and a more flexible approach to implementation to support students in meeting the requirements. The session will also describe the functionality and scope of the new RCVS National EMS Booking Database which is currently under development, with early sight of what the platform will do in terms of students search functions and EMS provider listings.

This session would benefit current and future EMS providers, veterinary students, vet school staff.
