RCVS Council has recently approved an ambitious project to expand and diversify the career options available to veterinary surgeons working in clinical practice. The project includes three workstreams that have the potential to be ground-breaking and lead to new clinical career routes and roles in the future for veterinary surgeons. This short presentation will give you a summary of the three workstreams and our plans for the next two years.  This work will draw heavily upon stakeholder input, and we will be inviting the profession to engage with the work through focus groups, feedback and consultation at regular intervals.
