The VCMS provide independent complaint mediation for practices and owners. The service is funded by the RCVS through the professions registration fee so is free at the point of use. The VCMS provide telephone mediation to help practices and owners resolve complaints without judgment or escalation. Having handled over 3000 complaints since October 2016, the VCMS is now sharing insight on what triggers complaints, how to resolve and even avoid them.
