1.1 The British Small Animal Veterinary Association (BSAVA Number 02837793) (‘BSAVA’) is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected and the BSAVA is compliant with the Data Protection Act 1998. This privacy policy (‘Privacy Policy’) explains how the BSAVA uses the information the BSAVA collects about you and the procedures that the BSAVA has in place to safeguard your privacy.

1.2 By using the BSAVA’ website  (‘Website’), purchasing any products (‘Products’) from the Website or utilising any of the services (‘Services’) including apps ('Apps') set out in the Website, you consent to the BSAVA using the information the BSAVA collects about you. 1.3 For the purpose of the Data Protection Act 1998, the data controller is the BSAVA.

5.1 If the BSAVA and/or part of its business is sold or integrated with another business, your details may be disclosed to the BSAVA’s advisers and any prospective purchasers and their advisers and will be passed on to the new owners of the BSAVA.

5.2 The BSAVA reserves the right to disclose your data (and you consent to such disclosure) if the BSAVA is under a duty to disclose or share your personal data in order to comply with any legal obligation, or in order to enforce or apply the BSAVA’s Member’s Terms and Conditions, Registered User’s Terms and ConditionsOnline-Trading Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy, and other agreements; or to protect the rights, property, or safety of the BSAVA, the BSAVA’s customers or members.
