Travelling by car
Birmingham is approached by the M1/M6 and M40 from the South, the M5 from the South West, the M6 from the North and the M42 from the East and North East. Charges and payment
The car park operates an ANPR system and your stay may be purchased either as you arrive or leave from the payment machines situated in the car parks. Alternatively, you can pre-book your ticket which will be charged at:
Daily - £9 per day - (normal price £20)
3 Day Pass (5th - 7th April) - £24 - (normal price for 3 days £60)
4 Day Pass (5th – 8th April) - £29 (normal price for 5 days £80)
5 Day Pass (4th – 8th April) - £35 (normal price for 5 days £100)
All charges quoted are inclusive of VAT. Charges apply 24 hours a day, seven days a week and can be subject to change.

Height restrictions apply in all our car parks and the max height of a vehicle permitted is 1.8m. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer parking for larger vehicles such as vans, minibuses or coaches etc. These can be accommodated at Brewery Street Coach and Lorry Park.
Parking for visitors who have a disability
Blue badge holders can guarantee a 3-day, 4-day or 5-day space by pre-booking a limited number of our designated spaces via ParkJockey, at the same rates as above. The remaining designated disabled spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Standard parking charges are applicable.
Anyone parking in these designated bays must clearly display their blue badge as failure to do so will result in a parking charge notice.
Whilst security patrols of the car parks are carried out by the designated NEC security staff, The NEC Group Ltd cannot be held responsible for any damage to or loss from your vehicle.
Travelling by Rail
There are regular trains to Birmingham New Street Station, which is approximately a 15-20 minute walk from the Arena Birmingham and ICC. The station has recently undergone a big redevelopment. Find out more here.
We are pleased to announce that Virgin Trains are offering BSAVA attendees a 25% discount on Advance Standard and First Class tickets to Birmingham New Street from a number of stations on their network. Please be aware that you must have proof of your Congress registration and discounted train ticket when making the journey in order to validate the travel discount.

Travelling by Air
If you are travelling by air the nearest airport is Birmingham International Airport.
Birmingham International railway station is directly linked to the airport passenger Terminals by SkyRail which is a free service operating approximately every 2 minutes when the station is open and the journey takes less than 2 minutes.
To get to Birmingham City centre it is a 10-15 minute journey from Birmingham International rail station to Birmingham New Street station which is approximately a 15 minute walk from the venues.

Transfers to Birmingham International Airport
Sunday 8th April, Departing the ICC 2.30pm and 4.30pm
We have booked complimentary coach transfers to Birmingham Airport on Sunday. The pick up point is on the Centenary Square exit of the ICC - as marked on the map below. Please arrive at least 5 minutes before the scheduled departure times.
